spurred on by everybody’s suddenly flurry of entries. Just realised I haven’t yet put anything up in the past 9-10 days. So here it goes.
I have:
- Updated my abstract once.
- Finished my comm rev essay, which is excellent (not the quality of work, but the idea of it being over and done with)
- gone to the Great Ocean Road, edited pictures and popped them up on flickr. you can view them here . (do drop a comment or two, if you think they’re nice or if they suck
) - gotten a few books to get a better grasp of the issues i might face in writing the thesis.
- picked up an envelope with my name on it, stuck on the wall outside the office in Blk 4 lvl 2. apparently it’s been there for days.
- turned 23, celebrated my birthday (thanks sarah and arnie!)
- spent alot of money in these 9-10 days.
- been wishing some genie will grant me a car (or rather, a lot of money so I can buy a car, and more (Kris – Signs of being lazy, 2007, pp.97236892)).
- thought about comm rev final essay.
- seen the largest plate of pasta I’ve ever seen(or will ever see) in my entire life. Tried finishing it and ended up taking 1/2 a kg of it home.
- started a flickr account and used up half my monthly quota in a day.
However, I haven’t:
collected the working visa from the immigrations office, it’s been close to 3 weeks.- started with the 5000. Procrastination of the highest quality – by telling myself i need to first get the abstract right.
revised my abstract again.and again.and again.and again.and again.and again.and again.read the readings for comms rev next week.read the library books that I’ve borrowed.- started on ‘The Great Gatsby’ that I bought 2 weeks back.
re-watched ‘Infernal Affairs’(if any of you are interested, we could still watch it together
)- watched ‘300′, and a gazillion other titles. (same goes with this)
- booked tickets to see Cirque du Soleil
- done my accounting.
drank in awhile.- eaten a Krispy Kreme donut in awhile.
updated my other blog for awhile.- yet arranged another meeting with my supervisor.
- gotten to know most in class better.
- learnt to use endnote.
called home.
so little time, so much to do , so much more to get done.

Glad to know it’s not just me that feels a little overwhelmed! I’m worried about the Com Rev essay. It was really hard figuring out what was expected as I missed the first five weeks of discussions. As for the 5,000 words… yeah I didn’t quite get around to that… but I did start reading a book about how to write a thesis.
haha, i’m glad to see that drinking was one of the first items to be crossed of the list.
